Cooperation between school and family at the disadvantage pupils

The diploma thesis is focused on monitoring the quality of cooperation between family and teachers of disadvantaged students. The parental side examines the interest in education and care of their child. From the teacher's side is monitored the level of communication and support towards parents. The whole research is accomplished within the Ustecky region in the Czech Republic with the main focus on excluded locations. Research is using the following methods: questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews. The results can provide interesting insight into the level of awareness of parents living in the excluded localities about their children's education and the level of mutual cooperation between parents and school with the aim of enriching and educating younger generations. For the child's development it is necessary to create a safe space. The basics for creating a safe environment is the synchronization of interests of parents, teachers and the teaching methods. Mutual cooperation between parents and teachers is the basis for success in a child's education. In the conclusion of the diploma thesis there is a summarisation of ten short recommendations on how to cooperate. Children from orphanages and their integration into the class group

Annotation: The thesis name The children from orphanages and their integration into the class group is focused on taking the role of student by children from orphanages. The thesis is divided into a theoretical, methodological and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to family, school roles and long-term researches of Matějček and Langmeier on the psychological deprivation and sub-deprivation. The methodology section contains objectives of the thesis and structure of the research project. The practical part examined differences in the conception of the role of pupil children from orphanages and children from family care using observational, questionnaire and socio-metric method and verifies that the monitored pupils from the orphanage have difficulties with social integration into the class group. Title: Tutoring of elementary school pupils outside school Summary: The diploma thesis provides complex analysis of pilot of National library focused on supporting pupils of elementary school with preparation for school tasks. Within the first part thesis is focused on methods of out of school tutoring in Czech Republic. Subsequently I have monitored the participation of pilot's volunteers within Municipal library in Prague - Bohnice and their interaction with pupils.
